Another economics joke

Here's the joke. It's funny because it's true. See here too.

Update: Coyote Blog even has a poem.
Update II: Whole poem here.

Wow.

I just got a copy of Photoshop Elements and decided to try it out on my favorite hobby of photo-panoramas. Wow. Just compare this with Photosuite's version down below. What an amazing difference. However, it has no photomosaic tool so I'll have to still use Photosuite for that. Otherwise, I am totally in favor of Photoshop.

A striking red tailed Hawk

I spied our local red tailed hawk again the other day. Dewey was hunting for squirrels just to the north of my dorm. I took these pictures with my cell phone, and then ran inside to get my normal camera, but when I came back he was gone. I'm going to be taking my camera everywhere, now and looking to catch him again.

Another Dave/Mike twin collaboration. I always love these reflections of buildings in buildings, and Dave has even more of them over at Baltimore Tales.

Darker

Oooh. These come out much more dramatic if you darken them a bit. Posted by Picasa

Mike's excellent trip from Newark to Chicago

After a wonderful weekend at home, it was time to say my goodbyes and head back to Chicago.1. Point of Departure: Newark Airport
2. That's my plane getting ready to load.

3. Somewhere over Eastern Pennsylvania. One river pretty much looks like another from here.

4. Ok. so this river looks a little different. Did I claim to be an expert? Posted by Picasa

1. As we travel over Pennslyvania, the countryside gets a little rougher.

2. Now, we have real mountains. And snow!

3. A different angle and some higher mountains.

4. If you look carefully you can just see the edge of one of the Great Lakes. It runs from approximately lower left to upper right.

Hmmm. These captions aren't coming out where they're supposed to. Oh well. I'll keep trying.

The shore of one of the Great Lakes again.

some clouds.

The rest are snow covered fields from probably Indiana. Unfortunately clouds covered up Lake Michigan almost the whole way across, only opening up the minute after everyone had to turn of electronics for landing. Alas.

Excting trip from Chicago to Jersey

I flew back to New Jersey over President's Day weekend to see my family.

Halfway there. Ther other half is finding a parking space.

The mechanical gate told me there were spaces available ehen I entered, but it must have been down to two or three. I drove through the whole parking lot and was down to the last two rows before I found a spot. My car is the white one in the back lefet :) Posted by Picasa
